“ I ordered the white bean tartine online, plus a pastry to go. When I walked in to pick up my order, I DID regret not dining in. The Bakehouse smells incredible. The patio was shady & relatively quiet. The cashier greeted the person in front of me by name & that's always a good sign. When I gave him my name he explained the pastry I ordered had sold out & let me pick something from the display to replace it. I chose the chocolate hazelnut torte. The torte, of course, was rich & decadent. But the white bean tartine was surprisingly flavorful & filling. My one visit to this place definitely left me wanting more. I will probably swing by again before I leave town. ”
“ Very good! I love the space (bright!) and the customer service! I ordered a panini but shoulda got the avocado toast cause my table neighbor had it and it looked bomb!!!! ”
“ Food...well done, I highly recommend the cinnamon melt roll/bun (slightly heated & no extra charge). Croissant-like and morning paradise on a saucer. Coffee, I went simple with some cream, generous portion also well enjoyed for a brisk morning. Service...top notch and friendly as heck. Ambiance...Love no frills, simple yet planned spaces. Exemplifies the hustle this staff has. ”
“ High quality artisan breads They use high quality flour The place is very cute inside The bread is simply delicious ”
“ This bakery is located right in front of Hotel Santa Fe. We have been staying at the hotel and one of the guests recommended this place to us and told us that it was a great place for breakfast. We went here this morning at 7:30, which is the time that they open. There was already a line out the door. Wow! We ordered a Panini with ham and fontina cheese for breakfast and several pastries to take home with us. Including their famous almond croissant, that was highly recommended here in Yelp. Not only the food is fantastic, but the service is outstanding too. Even though the house was full, they took the time to give us recommendations and help us with our order. Next time that we are in Santa Fe, we're definitely coming here. ”
“ My first time at this bakery and it did not disappoint! This inside is super cute. The staff was very kind and helpful as I took my time deciding on what sourdough to get. I ended up getting the Kalamata olive sourdough and the 100% sourdough. Both were delicious! They even sliced it for me. I cannot wait to visit Santa Fe again to stop pass here. ”
“ So this was a highly rated bakery and I had the pleasure of trying their sourdough prior to coming here since they serve it at La Boca. This is a casual bakery with an outdoor patio for more brunch/breakfast foods. As I tend to be a pastry fiend, I ordered an almond croissant, chocolate hazelnut torte, and a cinnamon melt. Did I need all of that, yes, yes I did. The cashier was great about it and didn't bat an eye, even offered me a bag to carry it sll in. All of them were very well baked and super tasty. The almond croissant was very flakey and crisp while still holding that light buttery croissant and semi-sweet almond filling. The chocolate hazelnut torte was a great size and had hazelnut pieces, adding a great texture and crunch to the chocolatey torte. The cinnamon melt was such a delight, I didn't know what to expect but it very much was a light laminated dough with cinnamon sugar and really did melt in your mouth. Highly recommend for anyone wanting baked goods. Can't wait for a return trip to Santa Fe to get some more baked goods! ”
“ Visited Santa Fe for 5 days. Stumbled on this place one morning simply by seeing the crew, through the window, working on the bread late at night the night before. For a 5 day visit, we ate 5 meals at Sage Bakehouse - that's how good it is. Three breakfasts, and 2 sandwiches to go, which helped us be well fed as we were out exploring. The lamination on their pastries is no joke. Just excellent. And, if you get something with eggs, it's enough to feed 3 people - the breakfast is huge. The staff are also SO PLEASANT and not even a little flustered. Just a very very pleasant experience all around. ”
“ My new favorite bakery! When in town, I was excited to try this place after I read reviews. The food did not disappoint. For a place that you order at the counter and then sit, I was shocked how attentive the staff was. My husband and I were even outside on their dog friendly patio. I had the americano. My husband and I split the pear almond tart, the pecan raisin wreath, and the avocado, cheese, and egg tartine. They even cut the tartine in slices to make it easy to enjoy. All of it was wonderful!! ”
“ I dig the energy at Sage Bakehouse. Staff seemed both happy to be there and eager to please. Customers also seemed happy to be there and appeared at ease. While I waited to order, I noticed staff acknowledging their regulars, who, in turn, lingered to enjoy the sense of community. I hope to return to try more of their beautiful food. What I did experience, the PBJ muffin, was flavorful and creative and fun. Bonus points to Sage for putting in the effort to set dine-in guests up with china, flatware and cloth napkins, which transformed a quick meal on the run into a relaxing, elegant experience. ”
